Colorful Carpets and a BAPTISM!

This past week has been a blast! One of the best weeks in the mission, but I always say that because every week is a good week when you are serving the Lord. This past week there was tons of processions and lots of carpets made of saw dust. They are so elaborate and definitely pieces of art! I was so happy we even got to help people make a few (photos attached below!). We also had a BAPTISM woohoo! Nestor finally was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was so happy and so were we! Our mission president even came to the baptism it was a great experience! Overall this past week was Easter and I am just so glad that through our Savior Jesus Christ we can see real happiness from the people we talk to everyday. That He is the light of our life. I am so grateful for Him, our Savior and Redeemer.

Funny story: Everybody who walked by that was a member of the church saw us helping with the carpets and also shouted, Look there are the missionarys! We got a lot of attention that way but what a better way to spread the message of Jesus Christ by service ❤😂
I am also sending another email with more pictures so check it out!
Have a great week everybody. Love you all.

Te Amo,

Hermana Brooks
